Langlaufen in Kleinarl. Vom Dorf, 5 km durch unberührte glitzernde Winterlandschaft\nauf der Loipe bis zum Jägersee im Kleinarler Talschluss. Zurück geht es über die Ostloipe auf der anderen Seite der Kleinarler Ache durch verschneite Wiesen. Es gibt auch ca. 6km lange Loipen in Richtung Wagrain.

Wir bieten Gruppen-Skikurse für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene – egal ob Anfänger ihre ersten Schritte auf Skiern machen oder Fortgeschrittene ihr Können für noch mehr Fahrvergnügen verbessern wollen. Unsere bestens ausgebildeten Skilehrer gehen auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse ein und sorgen mit der richtigen Technik für Spaß beim Skifahren. The ‘Alte Stadl’, the charming ski and alpine hut of the Familienhotel Austria, is located in the middle of the fantastic mountain world of the Schladminger Tauern in Styria right next to our hotel and at the valley station of the Hochwurzen summit lift and is easily accessible by car. Running on a flat surface can be done by almost anyone after a little training. But running uphill from peak to peak, over hill and dale, along narrow paths and steep trails to steep inclines - that is only something for true and highly motivated running freaks.
Those who take up the challenge will be rewarded with fantastic views and unique trails in the Hochkönig region.
Every year, exciting trail running events with numerous national and international participants provide an additional challenge.

With the start of the 2025/26 winter season, the family-owned company Sport & Modehaus Mandl from Gröbming will officially take over the ski rental at Galsterberg. The new takeover brings a breath of fresh air, modern equipment and the usual high quality of service to the popular family ski resort.

Mandl has many years of experience in winter sports and is known in the region for its professional ski service, high-quality rental equipment and personal advice.

‘Our goal is to offer guests a hassle-free and enjoyable rental experience with state-of-the-art equipment.’

With the takeover, the ski rental at Galsterberg will be comprehensively modernised. Guests can look forward to an extensive selection of rental skis, touring skis and snowboards for adults and children.

The rental equipment can be booked online or directly on site.

The MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein, directly opposite the „MONDI Schiefe Alm Gastein, is the ideal place to switch of and enjoy the moment. The MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein will soon have you hooked – it ticks all the boxes!

Solely fresh local and regional produce is used for preparing the Austrian and international dishes; quite unlike the cuisine you would usually expect from an Alpine lodge eaterie. Aside from the classic Austrian rustic staples, such as spare ribs or beef filet the « Bellevue Alm » Fondue is top notch. Tempting, tasty snack dishes for in-between are also available. Classic kids‘ favourites ranging from fried pork escalope to „Berner“ sausages are on offer on the kids‘ menu. In a nutshell: good, plain cooking with served with some extra zing and at a reasonable price.

Fun for the whole family is pre-programmed at the holiday highlight on the 1.6 km long summer toboggan run on the Biberg. Simply get in, activate the gear lever and off you go!
On the action-packed downhill run, you leave 345 metres in altitude, 61 curves and 3 super jumps behind you. Whether you want to be a speedy downhill runner or a leisurely pleasure tobogganer, you can easily set your own speed with the gear lever.
