Technique, safety, FUN!

in Austria's greatest skiing paradise

In "Bambini on Skis," beginning and slightly advanced young skiers aged 4 to 6 are introduced to skiing in a playful way. In small groups divided by language and age, kids learn from trained ski instructors how to navigate the slopes safely and enjoyably. The program includes learning content based on international standards, full-day supervision with a fun children's program, and an exciting final ski race!

Learn to ski with a quality guarantee

Here's what parents and children can look forward to:

Details for the "Bambini on Skis" Course:

  • Course Times: The course is available throughout the entire season. Beginners can start on Sundays or Mondays, while advanced skiers can join daily. Children are supervised all day, for at least five hours including a lunch break and refreshments—the exact times are determined by the respective ski school.
  • Course Duration: The standard course duration is five days. Fewer days are available upon request.
  • Course Variants: There are two course options—one for absolute beginners and one for slightly advanced skiers who can already navigate blue slopes, stop, and turn independently.
  • Group Allocation: The course takes place in small, limited groups. To ensure good group dynamics, children are grouped by age and language.
  • Ski Rental: Ski schools offer ski rentals and/or partner rental services.
  • Ski Instruction: Instructors are trained (children’s) ski teachers with high professional and social competence, delivering lessons based on international standards. Kids will learn to ski on blue slopes and in the children's area, mastering turns and stops in a playful manner.
  • Additional Features: The course includes a dedicated children’s area and child-friendly lift aids (magic carpets, conveyor belts, etc.).
  • Program: A daily children’s program, "Fun on Skiing," is created by the ski school. At the end of the course, there is a final ski race with an award ceremony.
  • "Nice to Have": Some ski schools offer courses in the mother tongue, opportunities for parental involvement, and additional personalized features. For more information, contact the specific ski school.

* For some ski schools, providing lunch supervision can be a significant challenge. If there are any exceptions and lunch supervision is not available, this will be communicated in advance.
