Naturrodelbahn mit einer Länge von 3 km mit Ende direkt in Flachau!

Spezialisierung: Der Berggasthof Sattelbauer, einer der schönsten Berggasthöfe im Salzburgerland auf 1300 Metern Höhe inmitten von Wald und Wiesen, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der herrliche Ausblick zum Griesenkar, dem mächtigen Dachstein-Massiv und der ehrfürchtigen Bischofsmütze lässt wohl jedes Wanderherz höher schlagen! Unser Lokal ist mit Holz aus einem 300 Jahre alten Bauernhaus ausgestattet. Unsere Stuben strahlen Gemütlichkeit, Behagen und herzliche Gastlichkeit aus. Die liebevollen Details erinnern an Tradition und Brauchtum. Unsere Küche ist herzhaft und bodenständig, die Produkte größtenteils aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Die hausgemachte Sulze, das Wiener Schnitzel aus der Pfanne, der deftige Bauernschmaus, die wunderbaren Schweinemedaillons oder Wildspezialitäten sind nur einige unserer Spezialitäten. Zum süßen Abschluss laden die warme Mohntorte, Strudeln und Eis-Desserts ein. Wir sind sowohl für große Feiern als auch für Busse gerüstet. Über die neu errichtete Straße von Flachau aus sind wir problemlos und einfach zu erreichen. Wir bitten um Vorreservierung! AN ADVENTURE WITH SAFETY – FREERIDE INFO POINT

Freeriding takes place away from the slopes and comes with its own natural dangers. You have to take into consideration such things as avalanche alert levels, exposure, slope gradient, snow cover, and emergency equipment. In classic ski areas, information for freeriders is in short supply. Not so in the Hochkönig ski region.

Find out about the most popular freeride routes on the mountain and the up-to-date avalanche risk at the freeride info point at the summit station of the Aberg gondola. With the help of the built-in avalanche beacon checker, you can make sure that your avalanche transceiver is working. Safety is thus guaranteed while you are out and about.

Wrapped in warm blankets, the clear, cold winter air on the cheeks, the steaming Gut Weissenhof horses in front of you, in the middle of a snow-covered Salzburg winter landscape seemingly effortless glide through the snow - a sleigh ride with our two German heavy warmblood horses,
Skipper and Penelope, and our coachman Sepp is like a trip into a winter wonderland.

The Alpentaverne is located at 1320 m above sea level directly at the mountain station of the 8-seater Hochbrand cable car and has been a family business for generations. Here you can enjoy home-style cooking, quick snacks, soups and sweets such as yeast dumplings, strudel and much more.

Sparkling snow crystals as far as the eye can reach. Enjoy powder skiing at its best in the Dachstein glacier ski area, that is, unsurprisingly, also called 'Austria's ski touring Eldorado'. There are countless ski mountaineering tours, steep downhills, ski routes and freerides from and to the Dachstein plateau.

The most spectacular freeride run is the 'Edelgrieß', quite a challenge for even experienced mountaineers.
