In this part of the world, people often claim “hunger is the best cook”. Be that as it may, we are quite certain that it is the regional ingredients and traditional recipes that make meals here taste so extraordinarily good. Our 100 ski huts, 96 of which offer tableside service and 34 of which host aprèsski events, also play a major role – both due to their location as well as what they bring to the table. From bowls of hearty soup to donuts stuffed with genuine Ennstal cheese as well as homemade strudel.
Regardless of whether you are looking for adventure or peace & quiet, the Schladming-Dachstein Region is here for everyone. With around 1000 km of hiking paths, 26 mountain bike routes and 33 via ferrata climbs, the ways of experiencing our nature are every bit as diverse as the region itself.
