Description



The bright, friendly and cosy rooms of the Hotel-Gasthof Klammstein are perfectly equipped for your family holidays. The rustic furnishings combine modern comfort with traditional style. Each room has a telephone and cable TV connection, Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Another characteristic of the hotel is the traditional Austrian cuisine. Enjoy delicious ribs and cheese noodles, and on advance reservation the hotel offers “Huatessen”, a local fondue specialty. Delight in exquisite delicacies made from local produce from the hotels’ own farm, paired with the finest Austrian wines. In the evening, you can choose from three different main courses, always complemented by a vegetarian option. In the morning, there is a rich breakfast buffet with everything your heart desires, including healthy choices and fresh milk from the hotel’s own farm. Guests are welcome to enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace which in summer also becomes the setting for convivial barbecue dinners. Gluten-free menus are available on request, and in winter the hotel offers a weekly farmer's buffet.

Special tip: Between May and September, you have the possibility to book a guided tour through the famous rock and stalactite cave "Entrische Kirche", the largest natural cave of the Salzburg Central Alps. Its mystical attraction makes the cave a popular place of excursion, and many visitors call it a “place of strength”. The Klammstein castle, which is located adjacent to the cave, is also worth seeing.



Winter in Gastein



The ski bus stops right on the doorstep and takes you directly to the Fulseck cable car, where numerous fabulous cross-country skiing trails and pistes are waiting. Spend an active day outdoors skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or tobogganing, and warm up afterwards in the infrared cabins of the Hotel-Gasthof Klammstein.
