Running on a flat surface can be done by almost anyone after a little training. But running uphill from peak to peak, over hill and dale, along narrow paths and steep trails to steep inclines - that is only something for true and highly motivated running freaks.
Those who take up the challenge will be rewarded with fantastic views and unique trails in the Hochkönig region.

Cross country skiers will not miss out in Filzmoos either. The high altitude cross country track with 16 km on the Rossbrand mountain is easily accessible with the Papageno cablecar.
