The Tischlerhütte ski hut is located on the Aberg directly on the piste in the middle of the Hochkönig region of the Schönangerbahn, with a fantastic view of the Steinernes Meer - simply a place to feel good! The favourable piste location guarantees skiing fun for beginners and advanced skiers. If you just want to leave your skis in the valley, it's a 10-minute walk across the slopes to the terrace, where you can enjoy the food and the sun! Hot and cold dishes in our rustic and stylish hut will warm your heart.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! A comfortable rest belongs to skiing, ideal at the Kröllalm. Whether in the office at the tiled stove or on the beautiful sun terrace with stunning views over the Saalfelden basin, you will feel at home. We serve specialties from our own farm, as well as mushrooms from the local forests. Also apple and cheese strudel are homemade.

FAMILY Ski amadé – Angebote in den Kinder-Skischulen

The ice-arena at Bad Hofgastein offers three skating rinks, the equipement could be borrowed at the ice-arena.

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

Tobogganing is great fun for all ages.

The Kleinbergalm can be reached on foot from the centre of the village or on the Grossberg chairlift. The alpine hut and the toboggan run are very popular – in the evenings too.
