For over five years, Ski amadé guests have been able to visit the Highest Farmers' Market in the Alps – during the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week from 9th to 16th March 2024 in all five Ski amadé regions. This turns a stop-off in the entire region into a visit to the market.
A wide range of traditional farm products from the region's own production will be on sale at over 15 stalls against an impressive mountain backdrop: various cheeses, farmhouse bacon, game salami and much more. Skiers can also sample something at some of the stalls: Plattlkrapfen with sauerkraut or genuine Pinzgau cheese dumplings, for example.
The regional producers themselves stand behind their market stalls and have pretty cloth rucksacks with them so that the purchases can be conveniently transported down to the valley.
