On the Planai's racing and speed tracks, you can test your speed: The racecourse at the middle station features 25 directional gates, and on the Ski-Movie course in the Weitmoos area, your run will even be filmed. On the Speed Shot track, a timing board will reveal your personal record.

Ski Schools & Courses

In a spacious ski area like Schladming's Planai, you'll find professional ski schools and a wide range of courses. Children, adults, and those returning to the sport can learn skiing and snowboarding or perfect their skills.

From traditional ski schools to freestyle schools and even private ski instructors, your individual needs and abilities will be catered to.

Family Offers & Kids’ Area

On a ski holiday at Planai, families can enjoy a special winter experience with the Hopsi Winter Children's Land and the winter hiking trail. The children's ski world around Märchenwiese offers numerous play stations, such as slides, climbing walls, and a wooden tipi, as well as skiing fun on the Funslope and Funcross tracks. Even non-skiers will have plenty to enjoy: playful elements at the Kasalm and Dachstein gondola provide entertainment.

The 3-kilometer winter hiking trail starts at the Märchenwiesenhütte, passes the "Little China area," and offers resting places and panoramic views for an unforgettable family experience. Tobogganing around Schladming and through the snowy landscape further enhances the offering. With Hopsi, the mascot, children can embark on a small world tour!
