On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! Sparkling snow crystals as far as the eye can reach. Enjoy powder skiing at its best in the Dachstein glacier ski area, that is, unsurprisingly, also called 'Austria's ski touring Eldorado'. There are countless ski mountaineering tours, steep downhills, ski routes and freerides from and to the Dachstein plateau.

The most spectacular freeride run is the 'Edelgrieß', quite a challenge for even experienced mountaineers. 

Ab der Bergstation der Dachstein-Gletscherbahnen gibt es ein Angebot von Ski-Übergängen und Steilabfahrten das weltweit seinesgleichen sucht. Zahlreiche Talorte rund um den Dachstein können von hier per Ski erreicht werden.Tourenabfahrten führen nach Hallstatt, Obertraun, Ramsau, Gosau, Gröbming oder Filzmoos. Die Höhenunterschiede betragen bis zu 2000 m, die Streckenlängen bis zu 30 Kilometern! Gemeinsam mit den teils extremen Steilabfahrten gibt es 16 Tourenabfahrten die an der Bergstation der Dachstein-Gletscherbahnen ihren Ausgangspunkt haben.

The MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein, directly opposite the „MONDI Schiefe Alm Gastein, is the ideal place to switch of and enjoy the moment. The MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein will soon have you hooked – it ticks all the boxes!

Solely fresh local and regional produce is used for preparing the Austrian and international dishes; quite unlike the cuisine you would usually expect from an Alpine lodge eaterie. Aside from the classic Austrian rustic staples, such as spare ribs or beef filet the « Bellevue Alm » Fondue is top notch. Tempting, tasty snack dishes for in-between are also available. Classic kids‘ favourites ranging from fried pork escalope to „Berner“ sausages are on offer on the kids‘ menu. In a nutshell: good, plain cooking with served with some extra zing and at a reasonable price.

Grossarl in SalzburgerLand is also known as the "Valley of Mountain Huts" and is  part of Ski amadé in winter. Hotel Johanneshof direct in the centre of Unterberg-Grossarl. Here, you can unwind to your heart's content and yet enjoy all the conveniences of a popular tourism destination.

► While skiing in the sun on wonderfully groomed slopes and a visit to the highest farmers' market in the Alps in Ski amadé are on the agenda during the day, you can indulge yourself in the evening with delicacies and fine wines from Austrian winemakers.
